General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Pulls Michael Back Into The Shadows — And Behind Sonny’s Back
General Hospital spoilers spill Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is going to be reeling from Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) attack and sustained injuries this week, and she just might find a human punching bag to focus her anger on. As her feelings intensify, Carly will realize there is no point in continuing to take her aggression out on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) — who will be remiss and beating himself up enough all on his own.
On Friday, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is going to link up with his mom, and it’s likely she’ll give him the rundown on what happened to Drew — as well as her arguments with Sonny. Michael has only just made peace with his father and is hoping the future looks up between them. But when Carly calls out for help negotiating a deal for Drew’s release from Pentonville that won’t leave Sonny replacing him, will Michael oblige even if it means crossing his dad in the process?

Sonny shared a lot of information with Carly when he stopped by her house to debrief her on Austin Gatlin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) trip to Pentonville and why he needed her help, but Carly is still on a need-to-know basis as far as he’s concerned.
When Carly pressed Ava on what dirt Austin and Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) must have on her, Ava was quick to play dumb.
Seeing right through her act, Carly will be eager to learn just what Ava is guilty of — and to share it with the feds in hopes of securing Drew a commuted sentence in exchange.
GH Spoilers – Report Michael Corinthos Cleared The Air — Sort Of
Carly has come to rely on Michael in a new way since Sonny “died” and then returned from Nixon Falls a much different man who didn’t seem to put his family first the way he always had before.
Adding insult to injury, when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) died, and she and Sonny divorced, Carly was left on a bit of an island. Enter, Michael.
He was determined to step up to the plate and be the man who looked out for his family when Sonny wasn’t — and currently, that even includes Sonny.
Michael was relieved to apologize to his dad recently and let him know how much he meant to him. So does he really want to dig this hole behind his father’s back any deeper?
General Hospital Spoilers — Let The Negotiations Begin
While it sounds like Carly will be negotiating with the feds in no time if she can get her hands on the evidence she needs against one of Sonny’s other baby mamas, the reality is it won’t be that easy to come into dirt on Ava.
That’s why Carly needs Michael to dig into the issue for her — and that may require him paying Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to be more than just an enforcer and friend to Sonny; he may have to become the mole in his inner circle.
That’s a big risk for Dex to take at a time when Sonny is already on high alert over unseen enemies.
