General Hospital Comings & Goings: Blaze Returns for New Story Arc
GH casting updates show Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) back on the canvas with a new storyline coming. Fans will recall that she formed a duet with Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) while he was suspended from the PCPD.
They made a great team but Blaze’s sleazy manager, Linc Brown (Dan Buran), was sexually harassing her and making her life miserable. Then, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) exposed Linc, and Blaze spoke up.
Now, she’s finally free from Linc on General Hospital, and Brook Lynn just got fired from Deception. So she’s looking to become a music manager again and she wants to manage Blaze. Of course, she’s on board with BLQ so that’s part of her story.
However, there might be more ahead for her than just music. Recently, she seemed to spark with Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi). There was definitely some chemistry there. And fans are already loving “Kraze.” So, Blaze might be a new love interest for Krissy.
GH Casting News: Mac Scorpio Out
More General Hospital casting updates confirm Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will be off-screen for a while. The long-time soap vet recently shared a heartbreaking health update.
Unfortunately, John is currently battling two serious types of blood cancers — Myelodysplastic and Multiple Myeloma. He is in need of a blood stem cell transplant from “Be the Match” in order to beat the cancer.
Thankfully, it looks like he’s found a possible match. The actor remains extremely optimistic. And he promises fans he will return to General Hospital in a few months. Indeed, we wish him all the best and hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.
General Hospital Casting Updates: Lois Cerullo Returns
In addition, legacy character Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) resurfaces soon. She hasn’t been on GH in 26 years, and she’s making her big return soon. Now that Rena is no longer on Bold and the Beautiful, she is reprising her role of feisty Brooklynite Lois.
Of course, now is perfect timing because her ex-husband Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) thinks he’s his alter-ego, Eddie Maine. Long-time General Hospital viewers know that not only is Lois Ned’s ex-wife and BLQ’s mama, but she used to be Eddie’s manager as well.
