Even the most hated characters have their own bright moments.
If there’s one character that the vast majority of Grey’s Anatomy fans hate, it’s Owen Hunt. A little too assertive and fixated on his own idea of a happy family, he’s known to have the worst history with women and people around him in general.
However, Grey’s Anatomy does a great job of showing how morally gray the people around us can be, so even Owen Hunt had some moments worth remembering.
Here are 5 moments that go to show that even the worst characters can sometimes do the right thing.
Misdiagnosing Oncologist
When Owen took it upon himself to stand up against the doctor who ’s been deliberately mistreating his patients to make money off of them, he was an undoubted hero. It’s hard to imagine anything scarier than being lied to about something as scary as cancer, so Hunt did the right thing by making him confess.
One Punch Man
Punching your patients is not okay in any scenario, however, when a patient starts a fight, slaps other doctors and doesn’t want to calm down, that is the only possible thing. Besides, Hunt already thought about how he was going to fix that patient’s broken jaw afterward, so it was all good.
Bringing April Back
Owen Hunt did many things wrong, but bringing April back to work at the hospital and continuing to learn was the best decision he’s ever made. Besides, it was truly great to see April, Owen, and a huge pig all in one shot, you don’t see that kind of thing on Grey’s Anatomy every day.
Bailey’s What?
Doctor Webber is admittedly not the fastest learner when it comes to the internet, so no one was surprised he left out a very important letter in the word “tweets” and went out searching for Bailey’s “teets” instead. Good thing Owen was there to correct him and make sure he doesn’t repeat the same mistake ever again.
Owen Super Nanny
There is one thing that’s certainly good about Owen: he truly loves kids. And he’s been a great help for Meredith, who didn’t know who could look after her. He is very good and excited to spend time with Zola, just as he is with his own son Leo, and that’s absolutely adorable to watch.
