General Hospital Spoilers: Will Ryan Carnes Return as Lucas Jones – Bobbie’s Adoptive Son Needed for Memorial?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the news of Jacklyn Zeman’s (Bobbie Spencer) death has left fans mourning the tragic loss. It’s understandable that people are already talking about Bobbie’s upcoming memorial service since we all want to make sure Zeman is properly honored.
Sonya Eddy (Epiphany Johnson) got a wonderful tribute that left many GH viewers praising the show for the farewell. Jacklyn Zeman will surely get a special memorial episode too, so it’s just a matter of when and who’ll show up when it happens. Of course, there’s a writers’ strike going on, so that could affect Zeman’s tribute show.
General Hospital might hold off until they’ve got their regular writing team back in place before they move forward with memorial plans.
Then again, the show might rely on material from strike-breaking writers known as “scabs” if they decide to write Bobbie’s death in sooner.
Regardless, Bobbie’s absence will have to be addressed at some point, so we can go ahead and start thinking about her funeral. Bobbie’s adoptive son certainly needs to be around for that, so will Ryan Carnes return as Lucas Jones?
Carnes was last seen in the role back in 2020 before Matt Trudeau took over as a recast.
However, it seems like Trudeau never really caught on with fans since he was barely used before fading out of the picture in early 2021.
It’s possible Trudeau or another recast could play Lucas in the memorial show, but it’d matter more if Ryan Carnes came back. Carnes might be willing to make an appearance to honor Jacklyn Zeman’s memory if the show reached out to him. Whatever the case, Lucas should be around in some form to say goodbye to his adoptive mother.
