General Hospital spoilers reveal Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) is confident about only one thing: who he is. While Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) was previously rather oppositional to his claims that no part of Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) existed for him, she’s since come around to Eddie’s way of thinking and sees him for exactly who he believes himself to be. Sure, she has hope that somewhere lurking deep inside of him is the man she knew as her husband, but she’s not going to punish Eddie for keeping him away from her.

Instead, Olivia might soon find herself opening up to Eddie — and the possibilities of a relationship with him — in a whole new way she never could have imagined before.

Eddie isn’t about to give up on his dreams of making it big in the music industry, and fortunately for him, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) connections in such have made it possible for Eddie to stick around.

That meant everything to Olivia at the time, but now she may be left wondering whether this situation can feasibly go on for very long.

After all, Eddie is now living in the Quartermaine mansion, but is that wise if he and Liv never reunite as a couple?

Is it even best for Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda)? Rumor has it Olivia is about to see Eddie in a very new light that makes imagining a future with him — albeit a new future — all the more possible.

GH Spoilers – Suggest Tracy Quartermaine Won’t Stand For It

Of course, the idea of Olivia now coupling up with Ned’s alter ego is going to send his mother over the edge.

She’s already been combating Olivia on the idea of sending Eddie to be committed someplace like Shadybrook.

Olivia won’t budge and wants to see to it that Eddie gets to live out his life however he pleases. Meanwhile, Tracy is looking for any legal means she can use to have him committed against his will.

It sounds like Olivia and Neddie have at least one very important reason to stay married, as it appears Tracy can’t act against Eddie without his wife’s approval.

While Tracy moves Heaven and Earth trying to get Eddie locked up and primes for electroshock therapy, Olivia will be distracted by her budding feelings for Eddie.

She’s not likely to find a friend who can relate to the guilt and confusion she suffers from as she is
falling for her husband as he’s trapped in his own body hiding from her.

Tracy is certain to make a mockery of the situation, and Olivia would be lying if she claimed her mother-in-law didn’t have the ability to get into her head.

But will Olivia let anyone sway her from falling in love with Eddie as he brings about a more youthful and playful side of her that the Quartermaine lifestyle may have brushed under the rug?
