Add Josh and Lauren Swickard to the number of real-life couples who are both working in soap operas. Lauren is set to make her debut on General Hospital in one of the show’s most talked about storylines.
Lauren Swickard: Paging Nurse Janice
A GH source confirms to Soap Hub that Lauren Swickard will make her Port Charles debut next week as Janice, a nurse at Ferncliff Asylum where Sasha (Sofia Mattson) is currently being held. Will Janice be an ally, or will she be in cahoots with Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) and Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder), who are keeping Sasha drugged so Gladys can continue to handle Sasha’s estate?
Love on the Big Screen
No word yet on if Lauren and Josh (Harrison Chase) will share scenes with one another, but fans of the couple know that they’ve already been in projects together. They met while working on the film Roped. They next reunited on screen in the Netflix movie A California Christmas, playing the roles of widow Callie Anderson and Joseph Van Aston, a man who set out to buy Callie’s farm. Romance ensued, of course! They also appeared in the sequel, A California Christmas: City Lights.
