Lani (Sal Stowers) has lived through quite the ordeal since her furlough began. She came home to bury her father only to find Abe (James Reynolds) very much alive, get kidnapped alongside him, and nearly die. All a the hands of an emotionally disturbed nurse.
Unfortunately, none of this will release her from having to go back to prison. No sooner does Abe wake up than she has to say farewell to her father once again. It’s an emotional time, but Lani has a price to pay. The best she can hope for is to still be on track for an early release.
DOOL Spoilers: A Long Road To Recovery
As for Abe, he’s coming around, but how quickly will he remember his old life? He’s spent weeks being drugged, manipulated, and gaslit. That’s not going to be easy to get over…and neither will his amnesia. Thankfully, his family stays close to tell him all about his wonderful life.
Meanwhile, Marlena (Deidre Hall) visits Whitley (Kim Coles). The naughty nurse did very bad things, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t deserve care. Marlena is sure to make sure Whitley will get the treatment she desperately needs.

Over at the Salem Inn, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) comes across quite the scene when she catches her Dimitri (Peter Porte) and Leo (Greg Rikaart) together. Things don’t look very innocent, but will she catch on to what’s really going on? Leo and Dimitri best be quick on their feet with a plausible explanation.
