DOOL weekly spoilers indicate the search for Abe Carver (James Reynolds) finally ends, and his captor faces criminal charges. For weeks, Abe Carver has been missing. Further, his kidnapper, Nurse Whitley King (Kim Coles), took him from the hospital. Why?
He mistook her for his wife, Paulina Price (Jackee Harry). And she ran with it. She was already obsessed with Salem’s Mayor. Abe’s amnesia worked against him. In fact, Whitley hired actor Jerry Prentiss (Terrell Ransom, Jr.) to play his son, Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson).
Then, when Abe’s memory started returning on Days of our Lives, the obsessed nurse took vials of his blood. Then she made Jerry fake his death. And Abe Carver’s friends and family mourned the loss of the good man. However, his buddies Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) thought his disappearance, brief reappearance, and “death” seemed rather suspicious.
Further, Abe’s daughter Lani Price (Sal Stowers) received special permission from the Maryland prison to return to Salem for her father’s funeral. However, she met with Jerry and wanted to know what he wanted to tell her brother Theo Carver. And he admitted the crazy nurse hired him. Plus, he spilled that Abe Carver still lived with his captor on DOOL.
But when Lani went to rescue her dad, Whitley drugged her, too. Now, she fights for their freedom. Meanwhile, John and Steve track down Jerry in Los Angeles. Recently, the top cop was fired by the deputy mayor for consorting with the beautiful detective. Their secret romance would still be hidden if it weren’t for a drunken Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer).
However, the former police commissioner could care less. He claims he would do everything all over again to be with Jada. Many DOOL fans root for the new couple. After all, they both deserve happiness. And their chemistry together is undeniable.
