According to Soap Opera Digest reports, Sal Stowers will return to the sets on July 4, 2023. Lani will be temporarily released for her father Abe’s memorial service. Yes, you read that right. Stowers is not coming back on a permanent basis. While Lani is coming out for a short term, she will also meet Eli, Paulina, and her twins. Although it’s a shock that Sal is only returning for few episodes, this reunion might bring smiles to Days Of Our Lives fans’ faces.

Sal Stowers is happy for this short comeback. While speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Stowers mentioned her gratitude for her return to the soap. She said she was happy to meet her co-actors, who are very dear to her. Stowers also is excited to step into Lani’s shoes again after July 1, 2022. “I loved playing Lani,” the actress exclaimed. She also added how Lani is a big part of her life. Days Of Our Lives actress joyfully said that the show asking her back was a beautiful surprise. It is for DOOL fans too.

Ever since Eli stepped in Salem, DOOL fans rooted for Lani and Eli’s reunion. To their surprise, Days of Our Lives spoilers came up with great news in June. The news revealed that Lani would be released from prison before the Christmas holidays. Spoilers said Sal Stowers would return to DOOL sets during July 3-7. Little did we know, it would only be during those dates and not a permanent return. Makers of Soap Opera managed to cast their mischievous spell again!
