The reality TV star often shares her thoughts on her podcast about marriage, kids, and family. Recently, she revealed the reality behind her parent’s wedding. Savannah mentioned that her mother didn’t say yes to her father’s proposals instantly. As per TV Season & Spoilers, she went on to disclose that Julie turned down Todd’s marriage proposal twice while pregnant with Chase. The Chrisley Knows Best star claimed that Julie was expecting Chase out of wedlock with Todd. Chase is the eldest brother, who is now 27 years old.
The TLC star revealed that Julie was ready to raise the child all by herself and didn’t want to marry Todd in haste. She recalled the time when her mother was pregnant with Chase. Also, Todd was freshly divorced from his ex and had two kids already. Further, Savannah stated that his mother told Todd about her pregnancy and said she would not marry him. It was because she didn’t want Todd to mess things up like he did in his previous marriage. Moreover, the reality TV celeb claimed they tied the knot later as his father was a pastor, and he got Julie pregnant out of wedlock. The couple wedded on May 25, and Chase was born on June 1.
