It is no secret that Kyle Chrisley spends less time with his reality TV family. Considering he was estranged from the family for a very long time, some fans can’t help but wonder if there’s a reason why he’s so distant. Is there some sort of secret drama brewing between family members that fans don’t know about? Is it too hard for Kyle to be near Chloe?
Fans learned when Kyle reconnected with his father Todd that it was largely thanks to the help of Nanny Faye. This was when fans learned that Nanny Faye never stopped talking to Kyle even though the rest of the family seemingly cut him off. Turns out, rumors swirled for a while that Nanny Faye wasn’t talking to Kyle much these days. Now, as Tv Shows Ace previously reported, Nanny Faye admits she isn’t sure where the rumors came from, but there’s no distance between her and her grandson. In fact, she admits Kyle talks to her just about every day (and usually more than once a day).
Moreover, Kyle also did his own part to squash these rumors when he shared an adorable video of his grandmother trying to get into his truck. While she wasn’t visible in the video, fans assumed the other voice in the background was Kyle’s wife.
While squashing the rumors and explaining she very much did have a relationship with Kyle Chrisley, there was also something else Nanny explained. She explained why Kyle doesn’t appear to spend as much time with his family.
Nanny Faye explains Kyle’s distance from the family
Speaking on Lindsie’s podcast, Nanny Faye clarifies there really isn’t some dark or dramatic reason why Kyle seems to be a bit distant from the family. In fact, the reason is pretty simple. She explained that her grandson is a very hardworking young man and the simple answer is just that he’s at work.
To be more specific, Kyle Chrisley currently works a third-shift job. So, his schedule is a bit different than the rest of the family. The hours he works have him sleeping during the day. So, he isn’t able to “come out and play” as Nanny put it.
On his Instagram Stories, Kyle Chrisley promoted an article dedicated to what Nanny said on the podcast. He admitted it was heartbreaking to hear fans talk about and accuse him of being distant from his family because he loved his family.
Moreover, Kyle wanted it to be known that not being part of the reality TV show didn’t make him any less a part of the family. He simply didn’t live in the spotlight anymore.
