Jason is back on General Hospital, and fans are interested to find out what he’s been up to. As for his portrayer, Steve Burton, fans want to know how long he plans to stay at the ABC soap opera.
Jason Will Stick Around A While
On his podcast at Daily Drama, Burton and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) spilled some tea about the guaranteed length of Jason’s stay in Port Charles. It seems that after being gone for two years, fans can expect to see Jason regularly for at least the next two years. Burton made rumors about a short, three-month contract to bed during the talk, and he confirmed that he signed a two-year deal with GH.
“Hey guess what,” Burton told Anderson and interested fans. “It’s a three-month contract. And, I’m not dying.” Where’d the dying part come from? Well, nobody knows, but apparently the actor had run across a post online where fans said he (or Jason, that wasn’t clear) was dying. The good news is that he’s not dying. “Huzzah,” Anderson replied.
So far, Jason’s return has been interesting, and it seems like things will continue in that manner. “[Jason] passed out in the boathouse, and now it’s going to get interesting,” Burton teased.
