GH’s Jophielle Love Shares Backstage Pics From Her Primetime Gig!

Some eagle-eyed viewers noticed a very familiar face in the season two premiere of ABC primetime drama WILL TRENT — yes, that was GENERAL HOSPITAL scene-stealer Jophielle Love (Violet) back as Cooper, the daughter of regular character Michael! “Catch me on the first episode of WILL TRENT Season 2! On ABC or Hulu! More to come!”

Love has been doing quite a bit of moonlighting outside of GH, making appearances on shows like FBI: INTERNATIONAL, THE WINCHESTERS, and in movies like Renfield and Five Nights as Freddy’s. The pint-sized actress actually debuted as Cooper in episode three of WILL TRENT’s first season.

WILL TRENT stars Ramón Rodriguez as Wilbur “Will” Trent, a special agent in the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Jake McLaughlin plays Atlanta PD homicide detective Michael Ormewood, and Love plays his daughter, Cooper. And given that the family’s conversation in the car stirred up some drama, viewers can look forward to seeing more of Love in the future as the subplot continues to develop.

WILL TRENT airs Tuesday evenings at 8 p.m. ET and streams starting the next day on Hulu. So you can still check out Love in the season premiere if you missed it when it was on earlier in the week.

The child star also shared some behind-the-scenes photos from shooting the episode, which you can see in the gallery below!

The young actress playfully tugged on TV Dad McLaughlin’s ear while holding her snack in the other hand.

Love posed with McLaughlin and Owen Trumbly, who plays Michael’s son and Cooper’s brother, Max.

Although the car looked like it was moving down the street on screen, that’s just the magic of special effects. As you can see, the car was completely stationary on set the whole time!

As Trumbly got prepped for the scene behind her, Love grinned for a pic already in costume.

Of course, she also found time for some funny-face selfies with Sara Antonio, who plays her TV Mom, Gina!

The actors enjoyed some downtime as the crew set up the next shot.

The monitors show the director what each camera is picking up as he shoots the scene. And this monitor is picking up Love in the car’s back seat!
