Spencer Cassadine has lived a tough life in General Hospital. Even by soap standards, that boy has gone through a lot right from his baby years. Especially when it comes to abandonment wounds stemming from his father – Nikolas. Perhaps that is why he is so resolute towards being a father figure in his little brother Ace’s life. Spencer does not want to subject Ace to the same fate as him. He wants the little guy to grow up in a healthy environment with a present father figure. Unfortunately, he may lose that spot in his life if he is not careful about his next moves.
A War Breaks Out In Port Charles
Ava Jerome has declared war on a long-time nemesis – Esme Prince, on General Hospital. As viewers already know, Esme recently broke into Wyndemere, pushed by some memory flashes. Once broken in, she got a few fragments of her memories back. However, she hasn’t really opened up about it to anyone just yet.
Later, Laura encouraged Esme to confess to the cops and Ava on General Hospital. Hoping to get the young mom out of the jam with just a slap on the wrist. However, Ava totally charged up the game by pressing charges. Despite Laura’s urges, Ava wants Esme locked up. She does have heavy beef with the amnesiac former criminal. But a lot of it also has to do with the fact that Nik has asked her help in taking Esme down for good. So, the war has just begun. Ava has made her move, and soon Esme will make one too! Especially once she meets her mom, Heather, behind bars.
Spencer Has To Choose Sides On General Hospital
Off late, Spencer has developed a soft corner for his ex-girlfriend on General Hospital. After all, Esme has done nothing but walk the straight and narrow ever since she lost her memory. Moreover, she has proven herself to be a very good mom to Ace. So, considering Spencer’s feelings for Ace, it is understandable that he has softened towards her. Thus, when he finds out about her arrest, he will be upset. He surely doesn’t want Ace to lose his mom, so he will sympathize with Esme and feel that Ava has wronged her. Once the young Cassadine heir learns about Nik’s involvement in the matter, he will be really furious.
However, on the flip side, Spencer’s girlfriend, Trina, is exceptionally fond of Ava. And it is no secret that Trina detests Esme Prince. So, it is hard to imagine that she won’t side with Ava in this war. Furthermore, once Esme makes a move, Trina may start urging Spencer to join Ava’s side, too. Given Esme’s history and all.
