General Hospital puts Spencer Cassadine has been through a lot. He may be a wealthy Cassadine prince, but his life has never been easy.
Spencer is finally happy. Well, as happy as any Cassadine could be. He is in love with Trina Robinson and has become a father figure to his baby brother Ace Cassadine.
All may not be bright in Spencer Cassadine’s world for long because things are about to shake up. There is a war brewing on General Hospital between his ex-girlfriend Esme Prince, and his ex-stepmom Ava Jerome. The Cassadine prince may need to take sides. Will he be Team Esme or Team Ava?
General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Steps into the War Between Ava and Esme
Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has been an upstanding citizen of Port Charles ever since she lost her memory. A supermom took the place of the evil Esme. But things are about to change.
Esme’s memory is returning with a little help from breaking into Wyndemere. Unfortunately for Esme, this is the perfect opportunity for Ava Jerome (Maura West) to get even with her for all the horrible things she did in the past. This works into the plan to destroy Esme which Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) wants Ava’s help with.
Under the guidance of Laura Collins (Genie Francis), Esme turned herself into the PCPD for the break-in. Even with Laura on her side, Ava insisted on pressing charges against her former enemy. Now Esme may end up in jail and be taken away from her son, Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay). This will reignite the feud between Ava and her former adversary. There is no telling what kind of revenge Esme will take now that she remembers her former life. Plus, she will have help from her mother, General Hospital villain Heather Webber (Alley Mills).
Spencer Cassadine has warmed up to his former girlfriend since she lost her memory and became a mom. He is a co-parent to his baby brother and they have worked well together. He also forged a better relationship with Ava. Spencer will surely be pulled into the war that is about to happen.
Spencer Comes to Esme’s Rescue on General Hospital
As of now, no one on General Hospital knows that Esme has regained her memories. Most of Port Charles sees her as a bit of a lost soul. Ava will look like the evil one who is throwing a young mother into prison.
Ace’s big brother could be sympathetic towards Esme and be angry at Ava for seeking revenge on a girl without any memory of her evil deeds. He will also not want Ace to be without a mother. He and his grandmother Laura will try to talk Ms. Jerome out of pressing charges to no avail. Once she sets her mind on revenge, there is no talking her out of it, especially with Nikolas in her ear. Once Spencer finds out that his father is back and helping Ava, he will be enraged.
The young Cassadine heir may be Team Esme all the way against his dad and ex-stepmother.
Spencer Sides with Ava Because of Trina
Ava Jerome is Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) mentor and friend on General Hospital. The two are very close which is one of the reasons Ava detests Ms. Prince. She is not only getting revenge for herself but for her friend as well. Spencer loves Trina so he may not go against Ava. If he turns on his former stepmom, he is also turning on his girlfriend. She will defend Ava no matter what, especially against the girl who drugged and framed her.
Spencer needs to be careful not to lose the woman he loves. He has been on thin ice many times where his ex is concerned so this could push Trina over the edge and she could leave him forever. He may be Team Ava just to make Trina happy.
