General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) is back-but will Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) be busted right away?
He remembers everything, including what he overheard just before his accident at the Metro Court pool, but decides hold off for exactly the right time.
General Hospital Spoilers – Waking Up The Next Morning
Ned’s memory came back quicker than it left, with no serious re-injury after “taking the plunge” into the waters off of the Quartermaine boathouse.
He caught his foot in a net, and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) saved his life after realizing where he was, and although briefly unconscious, he woke up with mostly full recall.
It’s not until the next morning, waking up in bed with his wife that he remembers the conversation that sent him tripping at the pool, when Olivia mentions Nina’s name.
He tells Olivia he remembers hearing Nina and Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) discussing Nina blowing the whistle to the SEC about Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
He was rushing to tell Drew and clear his name, since he was the one accused of blowing the whistle when the case was being investigated.
GH Spoilers – Ned Quartermaine Still Wants To Clear His Name
That part hasn’t changed; Ned still wants to clear his name, even though he learns Drew had been in prison and released and Carly’s running Kelly’s.
Olivia tells Ned to hold his horses-and his thoughts, since Nina just married Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Drew and Carly are back together.
Besides, Olivia notes, Drew and Carly did actually break the law-even though Ned was only making idle threats about turning them in, thus being accused of blowing the whistle on them.
Ned agrees to hold off for a while on exposing Nina for turning Carly and Drew in, although he’s not going to wait forever.
General Hospital Spoilers – He’ll Wait-And Watch For The Right Time
Ned will wait-and watch for the right time to clear his name and blow the whistle on Nina!
Meanwhile, he gets dressed for the day, in a suit, clean shaven, and goes downstairs where Yuri, (Cyrus Hobbi) Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) are. Yuri, who is now the new butler, immediately recognizes he’s Ned, not Eddie, because of the suit and the shave, and Ned has a big reunion with his daughter and Lois.
He apologizes for insensitivity as Eddie and tells his daughter he loves her, but his Eddie persona didn’t even recognize Lois either-which was always odd.
Even though he acknowledges music was a big part of his life, and so was business, he’s continuing on as a reunified Eddie and Ned-but for now, ELQ will wait!
