General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) has straddled the line between good and evil ever since he came to Port Charles.

When he first appeared, he came to Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) rescue, helping to deliver her baby in the woods.
But as his ties to the Quartermaine family came out, Austin’s darker tendencies began to show themselves.
For almost two years now, viewers have been confused as to what makes Austin tick. But now, Austin has done something he can’t turn back from, even if he is somehow thwarted.
General Hospital Spoilers – Austin Gatlin-Holt has murder in his mind!
It was recently revealed that Austin, as well as his cousin Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) have ties to mobster Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
Mason was recently arrested and shot by Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) after he abducted and tried to kill Ava Jerome (Maura West). But Mason didn’t plan to go down alone.
He told Austin that he would take him down as well, leaving Austin with seemingly no alternative.
Austin later returned to Mason’s room with murder on his mind. He took a pillow and began to smother Mason. Whether or not he actually goes through with it remains to be seen.
GH Spoilers – Cyrus Renault isn’t done with Austin Gatlin-Holt
Cyrus was just released from prison, thanks to Austin’s testimony that Cyrus’ recent heart attack has left him unable to hurt anyone. If Mason truly is dead, then Cyrus will likely still have need of Austin.
Austin, now at the very least an attempted murderer, may realize he can never truly turn away from his past with Cyrus. Look for him to begin drowning his sorrows in alcohol and exhibit a much darker demeanor!
General Hospital Spoilers – Ave Jerome and Austin Gatlin-Holt have much in common!
Once Austin is stripped of all pretense, he may become even more interesting to Ava Jerome (Maura West). Ava is no stranger to murder.
She once shot Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan) in cold blood and has been indirectly responsible for several other deaths.
Ava has softened in recent years and she may be the only person who can show Austin that he can be redeemed, whether he believes it or not. These two could become a dangerous couple if they feed off of each other in all the worst ways.
