The storyline has literally been running in circles with Ned’s memory loss in General Hospital. It has been months since his Metro Court accident. But he is still stuck where he was when he first woke up with tainted memory. Olivia has transitioned from detesting Eddie to falling in love with him. In fact, even Ned/Eddie’s lost ex has returned to Port Charles. But nothing has jogged Ned’s memory. If nothing else, at least Lois should have stirred his memory bank. She was, after all, a massive part of Eddie’s life in the 90’s. So him not remembering her is just down right bizarre. What could GH’s angle really be here? Are they trying to take Ned’s story back a full circle? Keep reading to find out what we mean by that!
The Clock Is Ticking For Neddie
Honestly speaking, Eddie Maine is not really serving any purpose on General Hospital at all. Yes, it served as a diversion to buy time for Nina and Sonny’s wedding to happen before the big expose. But that part is done now. Apart from that we don’t see what Ned’s Eddie persona brings to the table anymore. When Ned first transitioned into Eddie, we thought this would bring Lois back. An old and much fan fared romance will be reignited. Well, Lois is here now, but Neddie can’t recall who she is. Heck, he even told Tracy that he can’t stand that woman!
What gives, GH? If Ned has drifted back to his Eddie persona he should at least remember his life as Eddie Maine! None of this is making sense anymore. So maybe the only way ahead is for Eddie to fade away and Ned to come back. But how could that happen? Well, at first we though either a renewed love with Olivia or Lois will do the needful. But that doesn’t look very likely right now. So maybe something soapy will have to happen. Like maybe another accident?
Ned’s Memory Comes Back On General Hospital
If a blow to the head made Ned lose his memories, maybe a second blow to his head could bring it back! I don’t know what neuroscience would say about it, but that trick has been soap-approved for decades! So it looks like a new mini accident will have to do what Olivia’s tough love, soft love, renewed love, and Lois’ return could not do! But why now? Well, like we mentioned above! Maybe the makers are trying to bring Ned’s story a full circle. And that means going back to finish what he set out to do right before he slipped and hit his head. Expose Nina!
Currently on General Hospital, the truth about Nina’s SEC leak has fallen into Michael’s hands. But he has decided not to expose Nina to Sonny or anyone else. Instead, he is using the truth as reigns to control Nina’s relationship with Willow! But what’s the point of a secret if it is not going to come out, right? Hence, it seems that once Ned’s memory returns he will finally expose what Nina did! Something that he was supposed to do months ago! Moreover, it may now also land Mikey in hot waters. Since, he also knows the secret but chose to use it to his own advantage! Well well! Looks like a lot of drama is about to spill out in Port Charles!
