General Hospital Comings & Goings: Liesl Obrecht Returns at Last
GH casting updates confirm Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) resurfaces after a lengthy absence. Last we saw Liesl, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) kidnapped her as part of his diabolical plan to wipe out the majority of humanity.
She helped take him down and made it back to town in time to donate her bone marrow to her niece, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Next week spoilers say Liesl catches up with Willow. No doubt, she wants to know how she’s been doing since the transplant. Indeed, Willow is doing very well. Additionally, Obrecht will likely have scenes with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) on General Hospital.
Liesl and Scotty were as happy as can be until he defended Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). Liesl saw it as a betrayal of the memory of her late daughter, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Fans love them as a couple so hopefully, they’ll reconcile.
Also, her return is perfect timing because her other niece, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), will need all the support she can get soon. Now Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) knows she is the SEC rat. And when Willow finds out, all of the progress they made will be ruined.
No doubt Dr. O will remain firmly in Nina’s corner and try to fix things between her and Willow. Indeed, it’ll be great to have Obrecht back, and hopefully, she will stay on for another lengthy stint.
GH Casting News: Spinelli Back in Action
Additional General Hospital casting news puts Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) in the middle of mob drama. The Jackal recently played a big part in the mission to rescue Ava Jerome (Maura West).
He used his cyber skills to help Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and her boyfriend, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), locate Ava. If they hadn’t found her, Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) would have certainly killed her.
Also, this might be the end of Mason’s run on General Hospital. Detective Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) put two bullets in Mason’s back to stop him. He’s alive for now, but he might not make it, and even if he does, he’s likely headed to prison.
General Hospital Casting Updates: Sasha Gilmore Out?
GH casting news also suspects Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) might be leaving the soap. Currently, she’s packed up and ready to leave Port Charles and start fresh in Austin, Texas.
Port Chuck is too painful for her and she seems bent on leaving. Sasha is a fan favorite, and no one wants to see her leave. So, hopefully, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) can get her to stay in town.
