2024 has just started and it is already looking pretty darn good on General Hospital. But it is no more a mystery, the man is none other than Nikolas Cassadine. Finally, The Dark Prince has returned to Port Charles. Honestly, this was long overdue. Nikolas Wants Revenge
The last time we saw Nik on General Hospital, prior to the coma stretch, he had really spiralled downwards. He felt lost, unhinged, and literally all over the place. However, when he reappeared on the screens recently to face Ava, oh boy! He was calm, collected and was really giving off that “Dark Prince” vibe. But what really caught our attention was the fact that instead of avenging himself from Ava, he made her an offer.
Nik wants her to help him take down Esme Prince on General Hospital. Now, like we said, impeccable timing! Esme has just recently started to get her memory back. Now, if Nik had reappeared sooner, any revenge from an amnesiac, white-washed Esme would make zero sense. But, now that Esme remembers, all the cards are on the table. However, a big question here is can Nik really take down Esme? Especially, in the light of the fact that she has both his sons – Ace and Spencer in her court.
Esme Prince vs Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital
Sure Esme developed a moral conscience and stuff, but will it really last for long? Especially, now that her memory is back, she knows everything that she has done on General Hospital, previously. She remembers her evil side. So it would all be wasted if the makers don’t let her embrace her dark side once again. Besides, nice Esme is boring and contributes nothing to the story. However, if the evil one returns, a clash between her and Nik would be worth watching.
It will be all the more interesting to see what part Ava plays in it on General Hospital. Moreover, who’s side Spencer chooses to be on. He has his differences with his father, and Esme is- well, Esme. When it comes it, she will destroy anything and everything in her path – including Spencer, even if she thinks she loves him.
