JULIE CHRISLEY SHARES SHE’S MISSING MOMENTS BEHIND BARS THAT SHE ‘CAN NEVER GET BACK’

As Todd Chrisley and his wife serve their sentences behind bars, she is opening up about the difficulty of being away from their family. Julie Chrisley admitted that there have been “missed days” that she “can never get back.”

While her parents have been incarcerated, Savannah Chrisley has publicly read multiple letters written by her mother.

In the latest one, Julie Chrisley opened up about how difficult it has been to miss important moments in her family’s life.

In January of 2023, she and her husband Todd Chrisley began serving their sentences related to charges of tax evasion and fraud.

On a recent episode of Savannah’s Unlocked podcast, the 26-year-old read a letter that her mom wrote in June of 2023.

According to People, Julie penned, “I feel like I’ve experienced so many emotions in the past few months.”

The mother of three went into detail about things that she has missed with her family.

“I’ve survived Todd’s birthday, Mother’s Day, Gray’s birthday, Chase’s birthday, my anniversary and Father’s Day,” Julie continued. “That’s a lot of missed days that I can never get back.”

The former Chrisley Knows Best star added, “I can only pray that I don’t miss anymore.”

She expressed her regret at not being there for Grayson Chrisley as he went through a successful baseball season.

“I hate hate hate that I’m missing them, but my boy is doing so good,” Julie noted.

Another letter read by Savannah is from May of 2023 around the time of the Chrisley’s 27th anniversary.

“Day 129, happy anniversary,” wrote Julie. “Today is our 27th wedding anniversary, my marriage is something I’m so proud of.”

She detailed, “It hasn’t always been easy but it’s been so worth it. This is the first anniversary Todd and I have spent apart.

“I know God is in every situation but man it’s difficult.”

“What is he trying to teach us?” questioned the reality TV alum.

Julie went on to say, “I’ve always known I was a strong person but this is testing me in a way I’ve never imagined.”

“Lord help me make it through the day,” emphasized the South Carolina native.

Back in November, Savannah took to her Instagram story to share that she is hopeful her parents will be home this year.

“I am freaking out!” Savannah shared in a video via her Instagram.

“As you know, we are spending Thanksgiving a little different this year, because I wasn’t going to fake it,” she shared with fans. “I wasn’t going to do the traditional Thanksgiving we’re always used to.

“But I got a call this morning and the appeals court has granted our oral arguments. So, I literally was sobbing.”

According to Savannah, this means that she’s “one step closer to getting mom and dad home.”

“The kids are freaking out. I’m freaking out. I got to explain it to Chloe,” Savannah shared on Instagram. “It’s just amazing.”

“We get to go and argue why mom and dad should be home,” she continued. “So, God is good. Thanksgiving win!”

The court date is set for April 19, 2024 and Savannah is hopeful things will go well for the Chrisley family.

“Looking forward to our appeal April 19,” Savannah told Entertainment Tonight.

“Obviously, I hope to have them home, maybe later in the summer,” she confessed.

The 26-year-old said she is focusing on looking after her younger brother Grayson, and niece Chloe who she gained custody of when her parents went to prison.
