The Chrisleys are famous for being loving. There have been moments of trife and even minor problems in the show. But Todd and Julie have always supported and encouraged their children. So, when Savannah introduced Robert Shiver as her new boyfriend, people naturally wanted to know – has he met the parents?
In a recent interview, Savannah spilled the beans. She hinted that Todd and Julie have seemingly different reactions to meeting Robert. The Chrisley Knows Best star said her father was reluctant to meet Shiver while serving his sentence. She mentioned the reason being “more a male pride type of thing.” Elaborating on what Todd meant, Savannah said, “He’s not gonna see me in this atmosphere and this environment.”
Her mother, though, seems like a totally opposite story. Savannah mentioned that Julie wants to meet Robert in case they “are gonna end up together.” The Chrisley daughter talked about sending Robert and her pictures to her mom and telling her their stories. Julie is “vicariously living through” Savannah.
The Chrisley Knows Best star talked about missing her dad during the interview. She talked about how she used to tell Todd about everything anytime she dated anyone. She wants to tell her parents about Robert and “all the amazing things that are happening within my relationship and how awesome Robert is.”
Savannah also talked about Shiver being her “male version,” wishing she could show this to her parents. She really hopes that things work out in their favor and that Todd and Julie can be released soon.

Savannah Chrisley has always been open about struggling to have romantic relationships since her parents’ incarceration. But, the Chrisley Knows Best star shocked the audience by revealing her new boyfriend on Instagram. And you would never guess who it is.
Though she had previously hinted on an episode of the Viall files whom she was dating, it was still surprising. Savannah had said she was seeing someone who “was too hot to die.” Nick Viall had tried deducing from the context clues who it could be. And then, on November 4, Savannah made her relationship with Robert Shiver Instagram official.
Most of the audience was happy for the star. But there was still a tiny percentage of people who were unhappy with her decision to date so quickly after her ex, Nick Kerdiles’ death. But Savannah had cleared everything up, and the couple is very happy and very much in love.
