CHRISLEY FANS ALARMED BY NANNY FAYE’S RECENT APPEARANCE

Although Nanny Faye recently revealed that she was in remission following her bladder cancer diagnosis, fans have still worried about her since Todd and Julie Chrisley began their prison sentences. There is new cause for concern about Todd’s mom…

Chrisley Knows Best fans are definitely familiar with Todd Chrisley’s mother Faye, or “Nanny Faye.” She was a series regular on the show and quickly became a fan favorite.

Many fans have been concerned for Nanny Faye and Todd as he and Julie Chrisley serve their prison sentences. The mother/son duo have a famously close knit relationship.

The 80-year-old has struggled with health issues over the years. The family confirmed last month that Nanny Faye is in remission after a diagnosis of bladder cancer.

There is concern that her health will not hold up until the end of Todd’s time behind bars. While he was initially sentenced to 12 years in prison and Julie to 7 years, they have both had their release date moved up . They are now serving 10 years and 5 years respectively.

That’s still a long time for his family, including a mother in her 80s.

“I’m saddened by the sentencing of @toddchrisley and Julie Chrisley. 12 years is a long time and im sad because I don’t know if Nanny Faye has 12 years left and if Todd’s mom passes away while he’s in prison it will ruin him,” one fan wrote after the judge handed down his decision last November, All About The Tea reported.

A recent appearance of Todd’s mom has sparked new concerns over what might be wrong with her.

“Did anyone see Nanny Faye on Savannahs live on Instagram?” a user asked on Reddit.

“I love Nanny Faye but she didn’t look well,” they detailed. “She looks stressed and like she has aged a lot since last made an appearance in public. It’s probably tough on her seeing T & J in prison and the effects it has on the kids.”

The poster noted, “I would assume she is making the long trips to see them also. Granted she didn’t have any make up on but still she looked stressed.”

Despite these comments, the last health updates from the grandmother have been positive.

On September 27, Nanny Faye revealed that she was in remission during an episode of Lindsie Chrisley’s podcast, The Southern Tea.

“I’m blessed every day. My grandchildren are good to me… I love each and every one of them,” she expressed.

Nanny Faye added, “As far as my health, everyone knows I’ve had bladder cancer. I’m in remission, thank God. I’ve been out moving around, doing the best I can.”

The reality star’s granddaughter admitted that the news made her “so happy” when she found out.

“When I got the call that your scans were clear, it was such a relieving feeling and I’m sure that everybody else in our family felt that exact same way,” Lindsie said.

In 2022, Todd revealed her bladder cancer diagnosis to fans.

“We’ve kept it private because she wanted it to be private,” the father of five shared, according to Soap Dirt. “We’ve had the press outside our door, sitting at the end of our street with long-lens cameras, trying to get photographs of us…and showing up at my mother’s home.”

“I would ask that the people who are doing this respect that she is 77 years old,” Todd pleaded. “We’re struggling with that, and doing the treatments and being optimistic.”

“A lot of people had picked up on [the diagnosis]. A lot of people have bombarded us,” the reality star continued.

“We’ve had the press outside of our doors, sitting on the street with long lens cameras trying to get photos of us,” he added, opening up about the family’s struggle with the press.
